Dash gauge

hi im still pretty new to the fb so i have a pretty common question im sure but i couldnt find it.



what gauge is that from what year? would i be able to easily swap it with the one in my 84 gsl se?

Looks like the cluster from an SA and no, it probably won't be easy to swap. Fwiw, the voltmeter is only a part time gauge. It reads until the engine starts, then the tach takes over.

That cluster looks like an S2 one. Specifically an '83 since the speedo goes to 130 MPH.

It won't directly fit in an 84/85 car. Electrically different and you have to remember the the 84/85 dash is different than the earlier cars. Anything is possible, but it wouldn't be easy.

its certainly an 83 cluster. it will not adapt to the 84-85 dash. the shape is completely different than that of the 84-85 so fitment will be sub par at best and wiring will not be an easy task. stick with what you have.
