Damn seat !
Got in my car to start and run it for a bit (in storage). Drivers door is against a wall so I have to climb over from the passenger side.
While hoisting my 215 lb carcass over my elbow slipped "THROUGH" the leather on the back of my passenger seat.
****!!
Come spring I have no choice now but to do the red cloth seat swap (got a mint pair from the wrecker).
I love the cloth seats but my wife really likes the look of the leather.
So in the spring, when I do the swap, I will have a very very sweet drivers leather seat for sale. This was recovered in matching leather and design in a better quality softer leather.
Now that will be easy to find a buyer for, after all, what does the average drivers leather seat look like at this point.

I've done some leather seat repair, but lately I've been playing with the idea of recovering and restoring a set in leather. It's intimidating, though, the only people I've known that have done it have been doing it for many years. I'm hoping that if I take my time, I can make it look nice.

I redid mine myself about 3-4 years ago with the Racing Beat seat kits. Turned out great, and it didn't cost an arm and leg to do. http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1975-1...37040-79V.html
