very bad indeed, are they brand new tires? if so, take them back to where you purchased them. it's called a hernia, and happens when you hit a pothole or a curb really hard, and can lead to a blowout.

but i didn't realy hit anything, i was cornering when it happend. is it a result of a manufacturer defect? do i have a chance? the place took the wheels off of some wheels i had, and put them on the epsilons.

if you purchased your enkei's from the same place you got your tires you would have some recourse..however it seems you used tires you already had to put on the enkei's correct? if so you just may have bitten the bullet..I had a hernia on some old yokohamas once..it was from aggressive driving...have yet to have one on my toyo's thru the years..what brand are your tires?

buldge in side wall can come form several different things.. if the inside of the tire has seperated then take them back where you got them from and get them to replace.. you may have to buy a new tire but it should be at the prorated cost of tread wear...

ie if you have worn 1/4 inch off the tire and there is 1/4 left then you should only have to pay half price...

I don't knwo of anything but mud tires with more than about 1/4 tread... hell they measure it in 32nds. in ATL area 3/32 tread will get you a ticket if the cop is an ***.

but take them back and you should get at least a discount.. well that is waht we do here at Kauffman Tire...shameless plug.

It's a manufacturing defect. It happens. They should replace the tire, no questions asked.
