dam dash lights!

tonight i was just messing around under the hood, just checking the timing and just basicly looking around the bay to see what i could take out next.
anyways....
i get back in the car, switch it on and turn the lights on and my dash lights wouldnt come on, and my mate said my parkers were out and when i switched the lights off the head lights wouldnt retract...
so i check the fuse box and surely enuf i had a blow fuse..

last time this happened to my i had a short in the rear light wires..
its to late to go check what it is now

but what could have i bumped under the hood that would effect my lights??

A short in the front left and right markers will affect the operation of the headlamp motors, they'll just go up and not go down. Which fuse did you blow? The "meters"?

i believe its called "illum" controls parking lights, head light motor release, dash lights, and "sometimes" the clock. mine blows every now and then, not too often, probibly cause i re-wired a lot of stuff and spliced one too many times haha
