Cxracing Radiator / Oil Cooler Kit

Is anyone using these CxRacing products? Looks like good way to upgrade my beehive cooler and get a little more cooling capacity. However the price has me questioning the quality and reliability. I searched and didn't find anything overly negative about them...but also not much discussion either.

In their description, they say this is for a 13B swapped 12A. If this is for a stock 12A or 13B first gen, it may not work. The radiator does not have a low coolant level sensor and I doubt it has the lower left hand sensor port. The oil cooler does not have a t-stat. It really depends on your application.

"Engine: 13B Turbo Motor From FC or FD (With Original 12A Front Cover) Swap"

From a price perspective from what it contains, it's not bad.

I would avoid those parts.

I think you are much better off sourcing a good used OEM Rx7 oil cooler ($100 easy) and a good quality rad.

No Tstat is a deal breaker for me.

You could get a decent rad, a used OEM oil cooler, and piece together your own oil cooler hose (Summit Racing -10AN) for a decent price.

For my S2 FB I installed a CSF three row rad, very happy. OEM essentially.

Thanks guys. I figured the price was a little to good for it to work out. I hadn't thought about the sensors. I do plan on putting it into a 12a car, but since it mentioned a swap using the 12a front cover I figured everything would fit and drop in. But I do plan on some track days so the lack of sensor ports is not going to work for me.

Buy once, cry once.

Buy twice, roll the dice.
