Custom Intake

I'm brainstorming ideas for a custom intake on my SA and friend's FB. I'd like to know what others have done. It would be great if you could show and/or tell me how you did it. I've got a few ideas but I would like to see what else is out there.

Oh. I mean't the intake before the carb. Not the Intake Manifold. Something like a cold air intake or hood scoop. Sorry I wasn't clear.

I searched and I didn't find anything that came anywhere close to what I am looking for. I am asking if anyone custom fabricated an intake system for their first gen.

Buy a turbo carb hat and run some dryer pipe through a hold you can cut in front of the radiator and stick a cone filter on the end.
