So i want to set up a custom exhaust for my SE. Right now the exhaust on my car sounds like a moped on roids because its rusted to hell and its a little embarrasing sometimes I have a 3" racing beat presilencer to start the build.
Another question is a 3" exhaust to big for a stock motor?
Im looking for the most hp i can get. but still want to keep my ears from bleeding to badly.

i have a racing beat header, presilencer, and powerpulse muffler and it sounds really good.. not to quiet and not too loud.. i like it alot... i ran my car with just the header and presilencer and it was nice and loud and shooting flames past my bumper lol... too loud for me. sounded nice at idle though

 

Go with a 2-1/4, 2-1/2" exhaust at most. Start with a set of RB headers, your pre-silencer, heavy wall exhaust piping and a Borla or RB muffler.

 

I bet with the Borla, that would be a great system. I've been considering pulling my PP muffler and slapping on a Borla.

 

So should i send my 3" pre silencer back i got 3" by mistake and wanted 2.5. but should i just go with the full exhaust from rb or still part it out.

 

3'' is way too big. You'll kill your velocity.
