A few weeks ago, when moving the switch to "resume" something caused the entire end of the stalk with the switch on it to pop out about 1/4". It's as if a retaining screw inside backed out or something. the weird part is that the switch still works fine, but there's a lot of play. I tried to pull it off the end of the stalk to see inside, but it won't budge (neither the whole switch or the "set" button).
Does anyone have info on disassembling the switch, or a diagram of the internals?
Oh, the car is an '81 GSL.
