cruise control

i have a 85 se and was wondering when i have my cruise control on and going on a level highway it wont stay at that speed, could it be a vacuum problem.

You could very well have a vaccum leak. You also might have a cruise acuator that's faulty.

I'd certainly check for vaccum leaks first, though.
