I recently bought my second 1979, and this one has a cruise control mounted via a stalk on the left side of the steering column.

I don't see anywhere that this could possibly be a factory option?

Does anyone else have an SA with cruise control?

My first 79 was a Limited, and I am fairly sure it didn't have a cruise control, but it was also a manual transmission, and I lost it 10 years ago, so I am a little hazy on the details.

To strictly answer your question, yes. My '80 has cruise control in it, but it's an old aftermarket type that was disconnected when I got it.

 

No factory cruise on series one (78-80) RX7s...
