Cowl hood on a 1st gen

So I was thinking, what if I were to go find a stock hood then cut and fit the cowl off say a rustang aftermarket cowl induction hood to the rx7s hood. Then rivet it on bondo up the edges and paint. I was thinking this might look kinda cool, at least very unique if nothing else. What do you guys think?

I wasn't thinking one of those massive like 5 inch over excessive ones they put on mustangs that go up most of the window. I was thinking more like 2 inches, and the only purpose was to have something totally different. And the cowl idea was my friends, I was thinking that or some scoop. I don't want the TII one though, just seems like more people would have that.
