Couple of Questions

I am going to use an S5 charcoal canister in my SA, but there is no place to mount it. I've seen other 1st gen models with the canister and I was thinking if I could use that mounting bracket for the S5 canister.

For my RB exhaust system, my muffler seems to want to be placed a bit too high, to the point where the only clearance for the exhaust tips is to cut the rear bumper... is this normal? Would a grinder be okay too? Will it chip the paint too much?

Does anyone have pictures to identify which plug connects to what for the SA driver side engine harness? I wanted to double check my connections so I don't short fuse anything/etc. If you do have them, please either post them here or PM me.

Thanks

Im in the middle of an S5 n/a swap, and was going to put in the charcoal canister for the fuel system.

California emission laws require cars that are 1975+ to be smogged.

SAs have the canister built into the air cleaner, maybe just run the FB canister hose to there?

Okay, let me kind of rephrase this... how do the other 1st gens have their charcoal canister mounted in the corner of the engine bay?

There are 2 bolt holes with captured nuts on the passenger side shock that a bracket bolts to, the canister slips down on that. Check the 85 FSM for the emissions routing diagram.
