since this is my first tear down and rebuild of the entire car, many questions will arise.. here are a couple for you.

i took of the drivers side door yesterday not thinking that there is wiring, going through to the car, for my power side view mirrors (doh). and so now that door is proped up between a spare tire and another door... is there a break in the wiring somewhere that i should look for to disconnect this.

also, going along side of that, my new body origionally does not have the power side view mirrors, so there are no controls wired in. i was thinking about using a center consol of a later year, that has a control for these on it, and swapping that in. a) do all of the center consols have the same bolt pattern, and b) is the wiring the same for all the side view mirrors?

and the second question: '79's did not origionally come with storage bins.. any idea if they will just bolt in, or am i going to have to do some major cutting work???
