could you guys help me make an offer

Hi, my dad has been going back and forth about selling me his 84 (?) gslse and when i ask him how much he wants he has no idea. I dont think he knows what the car is worth so if you guys could help me out on trying to come up with a fair offer i would appreciate it.

1984 rx7 gslse (red)
88,000 miles
leather interior
runs and shifts well
Has two very small rust spots around the sunroof
other then small rust spots the factory paint looks nearly perfect (especially considering its age).
It has new tires and a new belts ( i know cause i did them heh) other than that i dont know what he has had done too it
I also know that he is the 2nd owner

Don't you get it ? Your Dad's in his forties I'll bet and he still loves the car. Sometimes more than you. ( Why he's going back and forth ). It ain't about the money offer, I'll bet. You'll just put some yellow pedals and a steering wheel cover on it and go wrap it around a pole or some ****.

So, if you really love the car, you'll let Dad keep it until he thinks station wagons are cool. THATS when you make your move.

LOL I'm 44, so I'm with you, bro'. I bought a new one in 1985 when I was 25 ! I remember seeing the new '79 SA's the summer after I graduated high school. Because I saw and remember what they looked like brand new, I think less of anybody that drives shabby *** third world country looking SA's or FB's around ( no matter how fast they are ).

The beauty got me first, then the high winding throttle response. Hook, line, and sinker.

On ebay that car would fetch $3500 no problem. It's the right color, clean, low miles, and a SE. Bet on it.

Well it's like this, you call your dad over when after you build a small folder of convertable Rex's!!!! show him the pic's and then You let him know that your looking into buying one, and after he start's to drool you go and check out some of these rides!!!!! and make sure you let him drive!!! unno since he is experinced with the Rx's. And if he doesn't take ther bait then U buy one and soon enough you may have a trade. It's not like your dad is gonna write his own Rx 7 off, crash it up , he probl. babies it !!!!!!!!! And as someone may have mentioned, he could be worried that your gonna mod it to hell and wrap it around a tree!!! Also talk to your mom, she may have the power!!!!! Not Letting Your Old Man SELL IT TO YOU!!!!!
