converting from external volt reg

I was thinking of converting my 79 over from an external voltage regulator to a straight alternator with internal reg. Anybody know of a step by step guide for this? Hoping it is pretty simple. And cheap!!!

There are multiple threads in the archives with different optioned alternators. It will be listed under the brackets (Electrical).
