about $800, whatever i had to spend on all gaskets and seals. But it would be over $1000 considering i got screwed over some apex seals.

Wait, maybe I missed something here, but you said you put the triangular piece in the apex seals, right? And you have a bridge port, right? Don't you need one piece seals on a bridge port? Or am I way off?

I didn't use carbon seals because they break a lot and can't take as much advance. Also i was planning to push nitrous. I've seen a 12a P/P with factory seals and a 140 shot, so i thought it should be alright on a bridgeport.

Depending on the size of the bridge-port and rotor housing slot you can dislodge the apex seal corner piece on the standard seals. That's why people flip the apex seals around on the rear housing when doing a half bridge-port.

Do you know if there is a cure for dislodged apex seals or is it the same procedure as for sticking apex seals described by Wankleguy on the first page of the post?

I really should try and find some of that Power Foam stuff.

No easy solution, other than opening the engine...and if it dislodges it means a messed up housing and probably you'll need to replace a bunch of parts if not the whole engine. Unless the corner piece gets blown out without doing any damage.

You`ll have to open up.Try to keep the rpm in perspective as well,nothing more than 8500 with steel apex seals.
Also get your oil pressure up,its vital at higher rpms.

yeah man, i checked your website...kilo racing is defenetly the one to watch out for. I've seen him at the local drag strip with his 3 rotor n/a 1st gen, he ran 11.2. And i heard he takes it very easy on that engine.

I'm not sure if i would be able to make it there this time, that's a hell of a drive for me.

Defenetly post some videos from the race on your website. Is your friend with starlet running a turbo?
