Complete Novice - Could Use Advice

Hi,

Hope you'll forgive a complete novice on RX7's, but thought you guys could help me out.

I've got a line on a 1981 RX7, Florida Car, no rust, completely stock, one owner (yes, a little old lady who bought it new as a "town car"!) with only 26,000 miles. Am waiting for digital pics, but apparently it's blue, with blue interior, no dash cracks, perfect paint, etc. Manual steering (are they all?), 5-speed, AC, AM/FM/Cassette (probably factory?), dual door mirrors, steel wheels, and that's all I know at this point. Allegedly has extensive maintenance records from new.

What would you guys think of a car like this? She's asking $4400 for it. Is this a car that has a big following? I know quite a bit about cars in general, and specifically focus on German metal, but this one sounds intriguing.

Any and all advice/reaction would be welcome!

Regards,

Gavin

to answer some of your questions i do believe they were all manual steerin back then.. and if it is in that nice of condition i would say try to talk her down past $4000 but other than that sounds good.. i would go check it out in person and look for hidden rust..
