Complete list of everything you can remove from a 1st gen's engine bay

Okay, I'd like to start up this thread to list every useless part you can rip off the 1st gen to clear up the engine bay and reduce weight. (i have this wierd urge to remove parts whenever possible ) So list some parts you can remove, and if they need to be replaced with something else smaller/better, post that.

1) Rats nest
2) Cold start assist
3) Thermal reactor (replace with headers)
4) Air pump (must remove thermal reactor and add "acv plate")
5) Air conditioning system
6) Stock radiator fan (add electric fan)

what else can be removed?

You install racing seats man... duh!

The racing seats are much lighter than the stock lead weights. These are definately on my list of extra weights to remove.

Now if I can only copy my hood in glass or carbon. Then fenders are next if I do well.

I didn't think you were supposed to just cap off the carb vent.

I don't know about you but I think that he just meant little things to make his engine bay look cleaner.

When removing the rats nest, remove all the wires associated with it that aren't used
Remove all the foldable metal tabs that hold the wires and such that aren't used anymore
Make sure to also remove the braket holding the AC to the block

I hid alot of my wires under the battery tray. Really cleaned things up. I extended wires and loomed everything. Takes a while, but well worth the effort if you want that empty bay look. Took me 3 days to do. Alot of fricking wires. Plus it's a good time to fix all the shitty wiring job from previous owners and to catch a problem.

Yea, you wish. I'd be happy with a S4 13B-turbo inside. Anyway, do you guys think this should be a sticky?

Are you refering to the heat shields? Please clarify undershielding parts and what they do?
Thanks
