Compatibility question

Is the motor in a 74 RX-4 a 12a or is it some other motor and could I use it for my 85 GSL? foud a complete 74 RX-4 for sale thinking about grabbing it just to resale.

No, I believe it is the old 4-port 13B.

??? My 12a Is a 4 port or are you referring to the exsaust? I think? I'll have to check when I get home.

No, I'm refering to the intake ports. Yes, the 12A has 4-ports, but the later 13B, cerca '83, had 6-ports.

so if it and mine are the same # of ports then souldn't it bolt together? I'm just trying to get my baby on the road I'm wqilling to do any thing to get it there. I just have a verry tight budget right now.
