clutch question

Can anyone tell me if an SA and an FB clutch are the same. I got a nice ACT six puck clutch waiting to go into my SA. The clutch used to be in my brother's FB before he went to a 13bt. Before I tear everyting apart, I just want to make sure that I can use the clutch in my car.

79-82 have 215mm clutches while 83-85 have a 225mm clutch, so it all depends on the year of the car it was meant for

the FB that the clutch came from is an 82, so I guess I should be fine.
Thanks Sgt.Stinkfist

Could you put an 83 tranny on an 82 engine? How can you tell what year a tranny is from?
