clutch question

i bought my '83 RX-7 about 3 weeks ago and just yesterday i noticed that my clutch would slip when i would try to accelerate quickly, i filled the brake fluid, then drove it a little and it had leaked, a also let whatever air there was in the slave out, which stiffened the clutch for about 1/16th of a mile. Any ideas?

Even if the clutch hydraulics are empty, the clutch itself should not slip, so problem 1 is you need a clutch replacement. If the fluid is leaking out, problem 2, replace all of it, master, slave and clutch hose. Good for another 20 years.

Welcome to the forum and the Darkside. In my sig line is a link to the online FSMs, carb manual, etc.
