Clutch pedal went soft, Hydraulic problem?

Guys, my clutch pedal went soft this moring. There is no leak and I replaced the master, slave, and clutch hose a couple of years ago. I am thinking it must be the master has gone. Anyone know how to diagnose whether the problem is the master or slave cylinder?

How could I tell if the preasure plate went?

BTW, I tried to bleed the system last night (it had been getting soft) and I kept getting bubbles. I had to stop when my lovely assistant (my wife) got tired of pumping the pedal.

Pull the rubber boot off of the back of the slave cylinder and see if it is wet there. If not it is probably the clutch master giving you trouble.

The master cylinder likes to leak inside the passenger compartment. Check the firewall by the clutch pedal for fluid. My carpet got soaked from the P.O.
