Clutch master interchange

Ok, the difference between the 81-83, and the 84-85's are the hard line from the
junction that attaches the slave cylinder. The approx lenght of the 81-83's is 17 inches and the 84-85's is approx 16.5. If you use a earlier year on the laters you will need to just bend the line slightly downwards. The fittings are the same and the bolt pattern is the same. You do not have to change the slave cylinder because the slave cylinder hoses are the same 81-85. rx7doctor

heh i put a 84/85 one into my REPU... just had to change out the studs on it cause they repu's were longer, and bend the repu's pipe to match it... threaded right up... i was happy with that... not that that has much to do with FB's lol

The part #'s for the clutch master for the se and 12a are different, this is true, however the only difference as far as hooking up is the hard line lenght between the 2, i own a se and 2
gsl's. As far as the slave cylinder goes the thread states that you do not have to change the slave cylinder if you use a se master because the hoses for the 12a and 13b are the same. The slave cylinders for the 81-82 12a and the 84-55 13b are the same, what the difference between the 83-8512a's and the others i don't know. rx7doctor
