I don't see how a hot tranny would affect the clutch fluid. I suspect there is some sort of contaminant in the new parts. Did you clean them before installation? There was probably somthing on them from the factory...

When I rebuilt my master cylinder, I took everything apart, cleaned it with parts cleaner, dried it all carefully with a lint-free cloth.
Then I soaked the parts in fresh dot4 brake fluid before re-assembly.

I was driving once and I couldn't shift, and then all of sudden my clutch lost all pressure. And I looked @ my clutch fluid and it was gone totally. I havent lost any clutch fluid since then, but it is a nasty color.

i buy the brand new one not the rebuilt cylinder
i thought it doesn't need to do that
but even if it does have those contaminent should be cleaned all up after flushing it over 10 times

I'd re-build both cylinders and flush the hoses...
Re-build kits are only like 15 bucks...

If this is how you talk to someone tying to help you, you should probably not be asking for help on this forum.

Let me try this again:

I've never bought a brand new cylinder, but I have re-built them myself. Either way, I would suggest you try CLEANING it.

Somthing has conaminated your clutch system, and since you've already flushed the lines, it's probably in the cylinders... Hence the dissasembly and cleaning.

I always clean EVERY part I get new from the factory. It's only common sense, as you have NO idea what kind of chemical residue may be on the parts when you get them.

It just may be the new rubber discoloring your fluid. I have new brake and clutch cylinder, but truely haven't had this issue.

Use soap and water on the rubber bits...

The only part you didn't change was the hard line. It probably still had some old fluid in it that has mixed with the new. If you are not flushing the system fully, the old fluid will continue to darken the new. Your best option may be to take each piece off and clean them seperately. If the darkening of the fluid continues, it may be from the seals in the new parts.

As a side note, are you using fresh, new fluid, from an unopened can. If not, buy some new fluid.

I have the sme problem, and have had it for severl years. I first rebuilt both cylinders cleaned everything and fluid would turn dark in 2 weeks easily. I thought it might be because I broke some sort of finish on the cylinders. So after a year or two of this I bought 2 brand new cylinders and a new flex hose. Fluid still turn brown. I have a pressure bleeder so I can completely flush the system. With the old cylinders I completely disassembled and cleaned everything and this color still came back. FWIW I flush the brake system a few times a year (I do track events) and it is always clear. I do the clutch more than twice as often and it lasts a couple of weeks before it goes brown.

I have had other cars with hydrulics and they don't do this. My car is an 85 GSLSE. I am just confused.

Just because a hydraulic cylinder is NEW doesn't necessarily mean there isn't a bit of rust inside, especially given the rather low quality of parts available these days.
Always give new parts a thorough inspection. Yes, that means disassemble them if necessary.
