CO clutch change questions

I'm about to do my first clutch change on the 7. I have a few questions however.
The job is: Drop the tranny, replace the pressure plate clutch, shift fork, and all bearings bushings. I will also be replacing the slave cylinder, and the tail shaft housing.

Car is an '85 GSL 5spd manual.

Questions are: what sizes if sockets/wrences do I need to be sure to have, any special tools that might help? (I know about the alignment tool.)

What is the best way to keep the fly wheel from turning.

Any other useful tricks?
