clocking noice
Ok I just recently changed my motor and transmission oil on my 1984 gsl stock and when I went to drive it started to make a clocking sound when the car is in motion, any ideas.

More description would be nice, clocking is fairly vaguel.
A few ?
Can you replicate the sound in neutral, or only in gear. at a standstill with rpm or just speed related. does it get worse the faster you drive or equally bad all round.
Could be any number of things, largely in the drivetrain area comes to mind

it is clocking when the car is motion w/o gears in. when the car comes to a stop the clocking stops, it goes away the faster i drive, and i notice that when the car has been driven for a few miles the noise goes away.

First of all did you take anything else apart when you were changing oil? Just changing engine and trans oil should not cause a noise that was not there before. You said it made the noise w/o gears in. I assume it's a stick. Does the noise change when you use the clutch? If you just pull it into neutral w/o using the clutch is the noise there?
