what i found to be the best degreaser is just ordinary stove cleaner. Just let it sit on there for a bit then wash it off with a hose.

Castrol has a enviromentally friendly cleaner called Castrol Super Clean which works very well. I also use it on greasey cloths with about 15 parts water to 1 part Super Clean and then drop it in the wash.

Castrol Super clean degreases good but it will tarnish aluminum so if you have it polished without clearcoat after using it once or twice you will see it get dull

I have washed mine with a pressure washer and I have never covered anything up. I use this spicy stuff they have at my dealership. It is so strong, just the sent makes your nose hurt and sting.
