Does anyone know if this 1987 Mazda B2000 Clarion Unit (see pics below) can be used in a 1984 RX7 GSL? The front appears exactly the same but the back looks different. I am mostly interested in swapping out the tuners.

Any thoughts?

 

Not sure, but I have a truck I could use it in if you decide to sell it.

 

If I remember correctly they can. I vaguely remember doing something similar many years ago. Can you take a picture of the back of both units without the wires (unplug the connectors). I think you will find they are mostly the same on the tuner.
