Choke releases + exhaust pops: loose fuse

Started the 83 and the choke wouldn't stay out, then when I drove around the block the exhaust popped and it wouldn't rev. Since I'd replaced the ventilator fan fuse just before, I figured I'd loosened a fuse, and so when I wiggled the fuses and reseated them firmly all was OK.

I've had trouble with the fuse box on the 83 before (even replaced some of the prongs) so I'm not surprised. I wonder if it's chronic with 83s: anyone else have problems?
