Choke related? (electrical question)

Hey guys,
I have my 12a engine down to about as simple as it can get. Blocked OMP, weber 45dcoe carb (and im running without a choke), no emissions crap etc etc....

Anything I swapped the engine into a different car a few days ago and noticed that a sensor located on the back of the thermostat housing (a large bolt with 2 electrical connections on it) the connections broke. So im curious as to if this is a sensor related to the choke telling the choke when to click back in because the vehicle is at operating temperature? Or should I be concerned and replace this sensor? (I can try and wrangle together some pictures if no one knows what im talking about)

Thanks

Yes, that sensor tells the ecu to pull off the choke. If it is not hooked up, the choke **** will not stay out on it's own.

This is true, I snapped one of my wires when I was installing my dell. But I dont ever have to use the choke to start it up.

I snapped some pics. I am thinking about pulling it out and installing a bolt or just cutting the wires down the the nut.
