Choke problem

Question Choke problem

I have an 85 rx7 12A. The car will warm up , the choke will go down and about 10-15 mins. the car cools down will Im driving and I have to pull the choke out again.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? any help will be greatfull.

The car should not cool down enough to warrant the use of the choke after initial warm up. Even with freezing temps, a cold air intake and no preheater hose my 12a’s have never done this.

I would look into a carb problem, possibly with the mixture, or a vacuum leak. I cannot imagine a overcooling problem, except maybe a bad thermostat. An opening of the thermostat at less then optimal temp could cause this. I would also do a tune up if that has no been accomplished of late. Cap, rotor, wires, filters, plugs, the works.

Maybe someone else here has run into this problem before?
