NC chipped apex

i have a 80 ls that recently lost compression but when inspecting through exhaust ports only had one seal that was a bit shipped and the rest looked the samon front and back.

car still idles smooth with no smoke, but revs and drives rough/weak, smokes when reving too. can just a seal be changed or will more work need to be done? not going for perfection just wanna smooth out like it was before.

Thx, Daniel

You can just replace one apex seal, though I don't advise it. Either way the engine will need torn down and the seals measured for wear limits. How many miles on the engine?
