the body kit is alright, but i think the paint scheme is lame, espeically for a car from the early 80's, the painted interior is nasty, your carpet is dirty and old, the sub is not ony stupid, but horribly placed and sloppily wired, and the engine is far from impressive.

but hey, thats just my opinion. i hope you didnt pay to get 'sponsored'

Looks good. I would probably do something different with the sub box. What are your plans for wheels?

You did a decent job on it, but like NOPR said, its an old car and the **** you did to it was like trying to bring it full out into the 2000's. Its a 20 some year old car, leave it that way.

Hey,It is well on its way to becoming a nice car.Hopefully you will get in there and really clean up the engine bay and make it look as good as the outside of the car.Get some nice wheels and finish the interior and you will have you a show winner.Who cares if it is old look at all the nice old cars they are the best.

I am not saying that its not good to see SA/FB's in good to great shape, I am just saying he is trying to make that old school car into too much of a new school appearance. I don't like it, its not my thing. It is on its way to being in good shape, and I'll give him respect for the time and effort into it, but its far from anything I would ever do with it. That is all the more I am trying to say. There is something about old school cars that I love, and generally its that they aren't being turned into flashy cars, but generally are more about fun-to-drive factor and performance enhancements, not bling and bump. I'm sure its a quick car with a streetported 13b, but with all the money he put into paint alone it could be a hell of a lot faster with enough left over to do one solid color of the car.

^ I'd have to agree in my opinion the paint scheme and painted interior look pretty tacky.

As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Its your car and if you like it, then all the power to ya.

I am curious thou, what are these sponsers doing for you? and as said before I hope you did not have to pay them anything?.

So how much are these sponsors paying you and did you have to put out any cash up front to get sponsered? Also, what are thier expectation/requirements for you to keep the sponsorships?

I had to pay like $50 and i get all those sposors and i can get all their products at a way discounted price and the only requirement is one local show per year. Over the winter it is going turbo and when that comes out i am cleaning up the engine bay. As for the paint that is a 9 thousand dollar paint job and i got it for $1000.the sub box will be changed soon, it is a temporary thing.

BTW i am 17 and paid for all of this myself and did all the work myself. I rebuilt the whole motor in my garage. I am not just one of those rich kids that their parents pay for everything and just shipped the car out to get finished.

If you read it it is a streetported 4 port 13 B with a holley 650 and RB intake manifold headers and exhaust. And a lightwieght flywheel and clutch. And i alredy got some stuff for free and anytime i want i can buy stuff. and i did the paint that was nothing to do with the sponsors. I work at a bodyshop.

as soon as you win ANY trophy at a carshow with more that 100 cars, they turn into full sponsors(where they give you everything at no cost) and give you an entry to HIN and reimburse you for 100% of the money you have spent with your sponsor.

umm...a 4 port 13b thats carbed isnt even CLOSE to a $4,000 motor. especially if you built it urself in your garage... unless your carb is made of platinum...i'll give you credit that ur car is off to a good start and if you want to do 2000 type stuff to your 80s car more power too you but dont try to brag and make it out to be something its not with a 9000 paint job etc.

This to me says it all

"Member accepted a sponsorship contract from: Stoner Car Care Congratulations!"

To me the site just looks like a bunch of no-names trying to get there name out When I see a name I know, and see the brand in the store. I will then give you props, but until that time, No

No way that is a 9000 dollar paint job, maybe in bizarro world! If some one was to ever pay 9K for that, they got raped in the butt.

Sponsored means youo pay no moey. When your paying them money to get access to there site and "special" deals sounds more like Sam's club.
