Check out my new 80 RX7!

Picked her up yesterday.
Street ported 12A.
Lots of RB acces.
Already converted to posi and 4 wheel disk.
Even a cold A/C!

Been prepped for SCCA and came with a new set of slicks on RX7 wheels.

Thanks for the engine bay pic, now I know how to install the RB engine brace. Had no clue before, lol.

Car looks great, but I'd rather see the old stlye waffle wheels on it instead of the + ones. To me, that is part of what defines an SA, and I may know someone who has a set.

Nice SA!!

Is that negative camber I see in this picture?

If so, how? I don't see any camber plates- does it have the adjustable lower control arms? It looks very good at that height. Nice find!

Good question! It is negative camber. previous owner said he had it this way for SCCA racing. I am suprised you didn't mention the drivers side, it actually is in more! I am currently trying to figure out exactly how he got it in that far. The drivers side is in so far it has left some rub marks on the spring!
Got any pics of adjustable lower control arms?

Odometer reads 14XXX so I am guessing 114K on the chassis.

Thanks but I too have a set of waffles up in the attic from my brothers old '79. My plans are to probably put the wheels from my other RX7 on this one (pictured below), once I swap my SE suspension over to it. May as well use these wheels on something!

Beauty car, and I like that engine brace. May look into one myself in year or so once I get the car fixed up and running right.

Paint does shine nicely, Thanks! Drives rather nicely. Unsure of the owners. I plan on ordering a title history for the car and see if I can dig up any interesting info on it.

Seeing as how it came with the slicks and was used for that, I will most likely be taking it to an upcoming rally and see what I can get her to do.

Nice looking car, looks good without the side molding.

Nice job on that console also. But a bit purple?

Definitely let us know how that camber gain was achieved.

I have some 'LE wheels for sale if you want 'em. They were sold on the '79 and '80 SA's as a dealer option and suit the cars quite nicely.

This is what racing beat's adjustable lower control arms look like:

RB says they're good for up to 4.4 deg. of negative camber, but you'd probably get some rubbing issues with the stock diameter springs.

I will take some pics of the front suspension and post them for the experts to decide. I'm pretty sure I would have noticed the RB Control Arms though when I looked over the weekend. I saw them in the catalog and that is what I thought he had done. Thanks for the offer on the wheels but I think I'll hold off.
