Cheap Effective way to hold on my battery

I've got an 81 and as of right now the battery just sits right above the left rear well and i need an inexpensive way to secure it, i'm no racer but turns are gunan make that sucker go right in the block and that's too close to the fan for me any suggestions..??

well I recommend going to your local autozone and getting a battery tie down kit (like 10 bucks tops) and they battery will never even think of moving, heres a picture of mine.

put a 2" tray underneath your battery (just enough for it to arch to your hood)...VIOLA...your battery is not goin anywhere

*NOTE* may cause fuses to blow

haha thanks again for the fuse box, its awesome, yes I got it from CT and painted it, you read it like a book, im thinking eventually I should maybe get a bunch of stuff powdercoated, it would be one of the things getting done.
