Cheap coil overs... will they work? (not for racing)
Before I get jumped on here I am wanting these for ground clearance. I don't road race the car at all and durring the winter month I want to use a large narrow snow tire. Last year I bottomed out in the snow in my driveway (factory ride height and suspension) I'd like to use the cheap coil overs if possible to raise teh ride height a few inches in the winter and lower it back down in the snowless months.
Thanks...
Thanks...

The ReSpeed ones aren't that expensive for a set.
Another option is installing miata coilovers up front, but then you have no rear adjustment, and no spring rate option like you do with ReSpeed coilovers.

With the re-speed ones, will they even raise the car? Ive got mine on the highest settin (just installed havent adjusted yet) and its close to NEW stock ride height (vs saggy old ride height)...something to consider
Amazing products tho and excellent customer service.

Best thing to do is ask billy...tell him what you want to do and he will tell you the spring rates..for daily driving he told me 200-225 on the front and only 125 on the rear..

billy also said to go harder than 225 on the front you should have adjustable shocks..and also i think he said no harder than 350 on the street kit..and the rear..well 200 is hard..

thats what they run on FD's, FB is 100% different.
the traditional FB setup is 350F 175R. in the front 350 is about the limit for the available drop in shocks (tokiko illuminas). the rear is solid axle with weird geometry, 150-200lbs works.
