Cheap brake parts for an 84 GSL?

I've been browsing for rotors/lines/pads but I've found mostly racing parts, and I don't want to pay those kinds of prices for something I'll eventually be using as a daily driver only. Are used parts reliable, or is there a good source for cheap street-only items? I can get parts for chump change at all six of the local stores but I don't trust the quality and accuracy of what they have available.

Most of the stock replacement stuff you can get at the local parts stores is close to factory specs. They have to meet certain requirements, or they cannot sell the stuff. Brake parts must meet minimum specs before they can be sold. These minimum specs are within the original manufacturers guidelines.
The brake pads and rotors available thru most parts stores come from very few sources. Many are just boxed differently, from the same manufacturing line. They should give plenty of service when used under normal conditions.
This is about the option for stock replacements, without the higher price of racing parts. Stuff sold as "Racing" parts, generally don't even have any warrentee, due to the nature of their intended purpose.

on old cars like these, I just go with Raybestos Premiums or something.

Brake parts I trust:

Raybestos/Raymold
Bendix
Akebono (Pads... not sure if they make rotors.)
Brembo (Rotors... not sure if they make pads.)

And that's about it...

I doubt you're gonna find Akebono or Brembo parts at Advance... They sell that stuff at the local import shop here.

it was the PG Plus line i was thinking of. The best part is they usually come with sticker backing plates, so you dont need to use any goop on them. I've used them on all my project cars.
