Chasing an Electrical Short - Help

I posted a while back with no luck, but I'm now stuck. I have a short in my interior between the load side of the fuse block and the components on the constant 12v interior circuit. I've removed all the components (lighter, dome light, hatch light, door switches, radio, steering column light, clock) and the short is still there, so it's somewhere in the wire loom itself. How can I check the loom for ground? Is it possible to check the resistance along the wire at, like, .00001 ohms and find where it gets lowest (nearest the ground) or do I have to cut it along the length to find it, or what? If someone's chased one of these before, any pointers? Thanks.

Check the connection to the "computer" underneath the driver's side storage bin. I had a pin in that connecter oxidize all to pieces and was shorting stuff out.. Look at all locations where the loom passes thru holes in the chassis where movement could cause th insulation around the wire to be cut Good Luck
