Changing your fender emblems....

Hey

Got two new fender emblems.....What is the best way to get the old off and the new on.......without having to take the fenders off.........Any tricks.........?

Are they glued or clipped? If glued try a hair dryer to heat and gently pull at them to remove them, not sure what is recomended to reapply, sorry!

New have clips...........

all you have to do is remove the inner piece of plastic on the fender well, you should be able to reach up from behind and do your thing then. not that ive replaced fenders before. stupid tree....

Easier than that - gently pry the old ones off with a putty knife or something. You'll probably break some clips, but I don't think it'll be that important

With the emblems removed, the clips can be easily picked out of the fender.

Putty knife, yes. Usually the barrel nuts are left sticking in the sheetmetal. Good luck pulling them out. If the new badge has the same anchors, though, you can just keep the barrel nuts in place and pop your new emblem in place. VB has the nuts if you need more.

I pryed them off and popped the new ones on........
Very easy............Looks great..............

Tried to go from behind with my hand..........and a tugged on the emblem.....an it started coming off
