my Weber 45DCOE sat through hurricane ivan.

when i pulled the carb off the car the linkage was stuck in the closed position. i soaked the linkage in penetrating oil and lightly tapped it until i could get it moving freely.

i also filled the carb with carb cleaner via the fuel inlet and put some compressed air through it.

i'm positive the thing was submerged in saltwater for at least 8 hours.
