Champiro tires

So, as much as it killed me I had to get rid of the Goodyear Wingfoots as they were completely bald. (and they are no longer made) being short on funds the guy gave me a deal on 4 Champiro HP tires. ($200) Besides sounding like they were made in a third world country, they have a bizzare tread pattern. Some one told me they are Nokian knockoffs. Anyone hear of these tires?
