CarQuest Carb Kit

Does anyone know if this rebuild kit is worth a damn? It's $37 and the guy said it's hella easy to install and work on.

I bought my carb kit from CarQuest and it worked out pretty well. A trick I did was to buy a bunch of Dixie cups and I put my parts into individual numbered cups as I disassembled according to the instructions that came with the kit. It made it easy to keep everything straight that way. Just make sure the cups aren't allergic to gasoline!

I also bought new floats from CarQuest, I figured it was a good preventative measure while I had the carb apart to replace the floats. However, it turned out one of the NEW floats from CarQuest was defective and it flooded out the carb when I tried to reinstall it. So I had to reuse my old float. Just something you might want to watch out for.

You also have a job working the field where you work on motors all day long, that'd be like me saying putting in a remote starter/alarm in 2002 navigator is easy as cake But the Dixie cup idea is pretty good, what I did when I did the ones I had was remove each jet one at a time, clean it and put it right back

I've got a complete carb kit, less the carb spacer, that I'll sell you.
