Lets end the 2bbl vs 4bbl debate right now as its not on topic and its likely to get the thread locked.

a 2bbl is just a finer thing, if you're all about the HP get a 4bbl.

i think we should just leave it at this, both 2bbl and 4bbl carberateurs have their strong points and either one could be argued to be better, but the arguement will never come to agreement amungst everyone here. BUT 750 is way too much, one thing we can agree on!

Not just HP numbers but everyday "DRIVABILITY" is better with a 4bbl.

I don’t think some of you are getting it. If DRIVABILITY (GAS MILEAGE) is way better and HP (performance) is way better there is no justifiable argument for the 2bbl in my opinion. If the 4bbl functions better in the two main comparison categories what is the argument. What else is there??? Personal preference, 2bbls look prettier is that it???

Did you READ the article by TWM (our independent tester) they only made 2 more hp out of a 2bbl Haltech driven EFI throttle body than with a plain old 4bbl. Talk about bank for the buck if that doesn’t prove that there is “no argument” (contest) here what will, does GOD himself have to come down from heaven and hand you a Holley. (LOL)

I think some people should learn to concede when the truth is so evident.

Gas prices are $3.00 per gallon in Fort Lauderdale for 87 & RISING the days of .97 per gallon gas prices are long gone and even back then my Dellorto 48 kept me at the pump. I almost cried after driving my Holley for a couple of weeks I actually had money in my pocket and could pass a gas station without HAVING to stop and fill up my 7.

4bbls are the truth.

Side note :

750 4bbls are too BIG. Guys down here only used them on turbo apps. Blow thru carp setups

not to add fuel to the fire, so to speak... but I've used both set-ups on my car (holley and mikuni) and prefer the mikuni hands down... Yes I am sacrificing fuel economy, marginally, in my case.. but for me the ease of tunning far out weighs this con. I also noticed I have a TON more usable midrange torque than with my holley... yes the holley was a little fuller on the top end, but really midrange is where you spend most of your time in daily driving... I also didn't care for the on/off lightswitch like effect of mechanical secondaries on my holley... with my mikuni it's a completely smooth progression from idle to main cicuits... just my .02...

No on off switch here, I used a 550cfm with vacuum secondaries smooth as can be!!!

No I am not smoking ****. I make valid points; something that I have seen from your end of the table.

There is no point to this because some of you cannot or wil not concede even when the evidence is right in your face.

You might as well say 2bbls are better because I say so.

It's like arguing over what color is better. People have preferences and are biased towards there preferences. It is not a bad thing, it's just a choice. :-)

2 barrels are better, especially when you have 2 seperate ones. And I do say so.
