do you recieve more performance gains from a carbed 13b than with the egi? If it does, is it worth doing? how much money and time is involved?

Not as much as there is involved in an EGI, but a carb can be a pain every now and then, where the egi is usually in the vacinity of where it needs to be. I would say the gains are pretty good, you get rid of the MAS and you get some more HP, oh oh and you get some mechnical secondaries out of the deal, if you really want them. I think that the set up is worth it. Money is probably about $1000 if you do all racing beat and stuff like that. But if you want you can try just a regular holley or whatever you choice is. But i love mine, never would go EFI on a rotary unless it is turboed, or I can tune it myself.

i think i might just keep the egi for now. i am planning on header back exhaust and stage 2 streetport. if i am still not satisfied then i am going to turbo it. but the egi seems like less hassel with it on. by the way does anyone have sounds of a header back streetport racing beat exhaust?
