carb'd 13b turbo

Just wanted to know if anyone has put a carb conversion on their 6-port 13b and added a turbo...is it even possible...or way too rediculous

i had a carb setup on my 6 port. no turbo tho. its possible. im sure 680 can do it easly hes the guy from www.rotaryshack.com. they do lots of turbo carbies.

on the holley carb...i've seen it on the weber setup...sorry i didn't specify...what kind of power do those types give...i'm not looking for high boost...maybe 7-9.

possible? very possible and i'm sure it's been done! there's nothing ridiculous about it. you can turbocharge anything. it's just a matter of getting the hardware you need. it may take some time, but i'm sure you can get it done with patience.

off the top of my head, you'd need the right sized Holley, a carb hat/bonnet, adjustable fuel pressure to correspond with boost, a capable pump, the right sized turbo and good-sized intercooler.

the power question will depend on how well you tune everything, but i would hazard a guess and say maybe 5 to 10% more than a stock T2 is realisitic since you're using the high compression rotors. but i can't stress the importance of proper tuning over chasing HP figures.

well...i assumed that whe i said i didn't want high boost that everyone would understand that i just wanted an idea...if i wanted the hp i would ask about it with more boost...but more hp than a t2 sounds good to me..i don't really want much more power than that..sorry if i sound snippy...its been a rough day
