Carb tuning - idle

Hey all, I'm trying to get my 12a to idle at 750.. I finally found the idle speed screw hidden under everything.. its hard to get mine low without stalling.. I got it to idle about 900, but it keeps speeding itself up to 1000 every couple seconds....

Vacuum leak.. ??

Most likely. There is a link in the archives to the FSMs, in there is a seperate carb manual that covers the entire run of 1st gen carbs.
