Carb Rebulid

Does anyone generally know how long does it takes to rebuild a carb on a 12a motor? My idle is exteremly high, and burning rich!! Any advice?

It took me a couple of weeks...but I'm an amateur. I think if you know what you're doing , you could do it it a couple of hours.

Try adjusting the air mixture screw before you go as far as rebuilding. Tweak and tune and if you have to rebuild
