Carb Question! (Searched unsucessfully)
I am curious if there is an adapter plate that may be used to mount a Holly 600cfm onto the stock 12A manifold????
Just curious if someone knows of an adapter plate. Yes i know RB sells kits etc.... But I am just after a plate. Any suggestions, warnings, or flames?

I know the adapter you are talking about. It was really popular with the Ricans in NY. If you have Rican friends check with them.
I will follow up with a friend and I'll let you know.

I made one fit long ago, here's the post https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/holley-stock-12a-manifold-530325/
Wasn't all that tough, just a common holley to small afb adaptor off the shelf, a drill press, a grinder, some ultra blue silicone, some JB Weld and presto chango...
Considering the fact I had all this sitting in the garage as junk, it was an interesting experiment that worked.

Radical idea just struck me...
I uhm, am pondering using an Ellison EFS 10 or EFS 5 flat slide carb.
It has adjustable venturi's so you can enrich or lean the mixture out on the fly....
These carbs are for aviation use but i cant seem to find any reason they wont work on the street, i may try it since a buddy has an Ellison EFS 10 i can borrow for a bit. I will just need to fab it up to the 12A intake. Granted, nobody wants to constantly adjust A/F ratio... But the idea of being able to adjust the A/F ratio from inside the car while at a stoplight or even while driving is just irresistable to me...
If i can get my hands on this carb and get it fabbed up, I will see about putting it through some violent turns and slaloms to see what happens...
But for now, I will still seek out the adapter plate for a holly. Great link by the way on the fab job for holly.
Thanks!
