I got a nikki carb from some mazda dis. place

got rid of rats nest ..........put every thing together right
but bowls will not fill up.......... there is gas going in but it just comes out the return...pinched off return and it still won't work ............ could the flots be stuck? or is it something els????

 

The retaining clips on the needles are not wrapped around the float tabs. Instead, the floats have been installed incorrectly with the tabs pushing on the retaining clips, which are keeping the needles shoved into the seats.

That's my guess.

 

uh oh.

 

well I wound the prob.......it was filling with fuel.. it just was not going through the jets.........the carb was a little stoped up.......... I fixed that but now it gets too much fuel........tryed tapping a the bango fittings but it wont stop....any sug???

 

Sounds like you are having needle and seat problems. Either purge the system to try and get the gunk that is keeping it stuck open or replace the needle and seats.

 

well I don't know...........I think I got every thing with the carb. now I think it is sparke..........I can clean the plugs and run it ........but after I try to start it again and drive it,it just fouls out the plugs........it dosen't take it verry long at all...
