carb help

alright i need to know why after the switch is off there is still feul coming into the carb and filling up the primaries and secondaries. also are the top spark plugs the leading ignition or the bottom? my airt vent solenoid is working but there is still feul coming into the secondaries. in case you were wondering, i drove the car about a mile down the road and came back. the car was running fine and and so my brother wanted to drive it. so we go to crank it and it doesnt. then it flooded out and hasnt ran since. also does anyone know how to unflood a 12a.

All I can tell you is that leading is at the bottom. The other stuff you'll have to wait for.

To unflood; remove and clean the spark plugs, then dump a couple of caps full of oil down the primary barrels. Then start her up...
